How It Works

To use the Gefen 1x2 HDMI Splitter, first connect your high-definition source, such as a Blu-ray player or gaming console, to the splitter's HDMI input port using the supplied HDMI cable. Next, connect up to two HDTV displays to the two HDMI output ports on the unit. For an enhanced audio experience, you have the option to connect a TOSLINK audio cable from the splitter's optical output to an external A/V receiver or amplifier. Finally, plug in the 5V DC power supply to the splitter and an electrical outlet. Once you power on your source and displays, the video and audio signal will be distributed to both screens simultaneously, providing a perfect duplicate of your content.
