How It Works
The 4x4 DVI Dual Link Matrix has four Dual Link DVI inputs and four Dual Link DVI outputs. You simply connect your four Dual Link DVI video sources to the Switcher's inputs, then connect your four Dual Link DVI displays to the Switcher's outputs. This provides a simple and reliable method of creating multiple Dual Link DVI display consoles, with each console capable of accessing any one of the video sources at any time by remote control. You also have the option of setting up the four displays locally or extending them with a Gefen extender.

System Requirements
Resolution Compatibility: All attached monitors are required to support the resolution of the video sources. The 4x4 DVI DL Matrix does not perform scaling. For optimal compatibility, it is recommended that a single, common resolution be used by all sources and displays.
Power-On Sequence: When powering on a source device, a display must be selected and pointing to that source's input. This is a firm requirement for most sources, particularly computers, as they need to receive display information (EDID) to begin outputting video.
