How It Works

The Gefen GF-HD48G-1MPO HDMI 2.1 Extender system simplifies the extension of high-bandwidth HDMI signals over long distances. The system consists of a compact Transmitter and Receiver pair. First, connect the Transmitter to your HDMI source device (e.g., a media player or computer). Then, connect the Receiver to your HDMI display. Finally, link the Transmitter and Receiver units with a single 8-core (or 12-core) MPO/MTP multi-mode fiber optic cable up to 100 meters in length. The system requires no external power supply and transmits uncompressed audio and video with zero latency, providing a true plug-and-play solution for extending 8K and 4K signals.
