How It Works

The GefenTV Digital Audio Decoder operates through a simple three-step process for seamless audio conversion. First, connect your digital audio source's coaxial or optical audio output to the corresponding S/PDIF or TOSLINK input on the decoder unit. Next, use the front-panel selector button to choose between coaxial and optical inputs based on your source connection. Finally, connect the decoder's RCA L/R analog audio outputs to your amplified speakers or audio system while powering the unit with the included 5V DC power supply. The decoder automatically detects and converts incoming Dolby Digital or Linear PCM signals, with LED indicators showing the active input (green for coaxial) and signal type (red for Dolby Digital), ensuring optimal audio performance from your digital sources to your analog sound system.
