How It Works

The GefenTV Dual Link DVI to Mini DP Converter operates through a simple four-step connection process. First, connect your computer's dual link DVI output to the converter's DVI-I input using a dual link DVI cable. Next, connect a Mini DisplayPort cable (sold separately) from the converter's Mini DP output to your display's Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort input. Then, connect the included USB cable from your computer to the converter's USB port for power. Finally, use the front-panel EDID button to select the appropriate display mode (2560x1600, 2560x1440, or pass-through) based on your display's capabilities - the corresponding LED indicator will illuminate to confirm your selection. The converter automatically handles signal conversion and EDID management, providing immediate plug-and-play functionality with your high-resolution display.
