How It Works

The DVI ELR Lite Extender system operates with two main components: a Sender unit and a Receiver unit. First, connect your DVI source, such as a computer, to the DVI In port on the Sender unit. Then, connect the Receiver unit's DVI Out port to your remote display using another DVI cable. The Sender and Receiver are then linked together using a single CAT-5e or better network cable. This connection can extend up to 200 feet (60 meters) if using CAT-5e, or up to 230 feet (70 meters) with a CAT-6A cable. To complete the setup, attach the included 5V DC locking power supplies to both the Sender and Receiver units and plug them into available electrical outlets.
