This compact extender system reliably transmits resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) and supports 1080p Full HD at 120Hz, with HDCP and DPCP compliance, over distances up to 3300 feet (1000 meters) using OM2/OM3 fiber. By utilizing fiber optic transmission, the system provides galvanic isolation and complete immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI). How It Works

Connect the Sender pigtail module directly to your computer's DisplayPort output. Connect the Receiver pigtail module to your DisplayPort display. Link the two modules by connecting a single-strand, SC-terminated multimode fiber optic cable between the fiber optic connectors on each unit. Connect the included 5V DC power supplies to both the Sender and Receiver modules — both must be powered for proper operation. Once powered, a vibrant, high-definition picture will appear on the remote display at resolutions up to 2560 x 1600.

 

Note: DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection) is not available when using Apple MDP (Mini DisplayPort) monitors
