How It Works

The Gefen Fiber Optic HDMI Pigtail system operates with a Sender and Receiver module. First, connect the Sender pigtail module directly to your HDMI source device. Next, connect the Receiver pigtail module to your HDTV display. Link the Sender and Receiver together using a single-strand, SC-terminated multimode fiber optic cable. Finally, connect the included 5V DC power supply to the Receiver module to deliver a vibrant, high-definition picture to your display. The Sender module is typically powered by the HDMI source itself but has a power input if the source does not supply sufficient power.

OM1 (62.5/125µm) fiber can be used for reduced range (up to 1000 ft / 300 m).
