Key Features

High-Resolution Video: Supports input and output resolutions up to 1080p Full HD and 1920x1200 (WUXGA), ensuring clear and detailed video quality.

Flexible Signal Extension: Extends VGA, USB, RS-232, bi-directional analog audio, and IR over a single CAT-5e (or better) cable up to 330 feet (100 meters).

Versatile USB Hub: Features two USB 2.0 ports for high-speed devices and two dedicated USB 1.1 ports with KM Emulation for seamless, real-time keyboard and mouse control.

Integrated Video Wall Controller: Creates and manages video walls with any number of rows and columns up to a 16x16 configuration.

Massively Scalable Architecture: Supports systems with up to 39,900 Senders and a combination of over 65,000 total units, allowing for large-scale virtual matrix switching.

Power Over Ethernet (PoE): Conforms to the 802.3af standard, allowing the receiver to be powered by a PoE-enabled network switch and eliminating the need for an external power supply.

Built-in Gigabit Switch: A two-port Gigabit Ethernet switch is built into the receiver unit, allowing for daisy-chaining to other devices.

Integrated Scaler: A built-in scaler ensures maximum compatibility and the best possible viewing experience when working with different displays and content sources.

Advanced Control Options: Controllable via its built-in web interface, Telnet, UDP, and the Gefen Syner-G™ Software Suite.

How It Works

To operate the Gefen VGA KVM over IP system, connect a computer source to a Sender unit and your peripherals (display, keyboard, mouse, etc.) to a Receiver unit. Both the Sender and Receiver units connect to a standard Gigabit Local Area Network switch via a CAT-5e cable, which can be up to 330 feet (100 meters) long. The Receiver must be set to the same channel number as the Sender you wish to control, which can be done via the front panel buttons or the built-in web interface. By adding multiple Senders and Receivers to the network and setting them to multicast mode, you can create a flexible and massively scalable 'virtual matrix,' allowing any connected workstation to control any source on the network with the proper configuration.
