How It Works

To operate, simply plug the IR-Extender's mini-phono plug into the port marked "Remote" on your Gefen unit and then power cycle the unit. You can then control the Gefen device by pointing your IR Remote at the new IR eye on the extension cable instead of the built-in one. This allows you to locate the Gefen chassis anywhere you choose, as long as the extended IR eye is in the line of sight of your IR Remote.
