How It Works

The Gefen Single Infrared Emitter is simple to install and operate. First, peel the clear adhesive layer from the emitter's shell and affix it directly over the IR sensor window on the front panel of the component you wish to control. Then, insert the 3.5mm mini-jack into the designated 'EMITTERS' or 'IR OUT' jack on your Gefen control device. When IR commands are sent from the controller, electrical pulses cause the emitter to blink with both a visible red light and the infrared signal, which is then recognized by the controlled device's sensor.
