How It Works

The Gefen 4K Ultra HD 8x8 Matrix for HDMI operates as a central hub for your AV signals. First, connect up to eight source devices, such as Blu-ray players or media servers, to the matrix inputs using standard HDMI cables. Next, connect up to eight displays to the matrix outputs. Once powered on, you can control the routing using the front-panel buttons or the included IR remote. For advanced control and automation, connect the matrix to a computer or control system via the RS-232 port, or connect it to your Local Area Network (LAN) using an Ethernet cable for IP control via Telnet, UDP, or the intuitive built-in web server interface.
