Key Features

High-Resolution Video Extension: Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA), ensuring sharp, crystal-clear video quality for professional applications.

Flexible Signal Distribution: Extends VGA, USB, RS-232, bi-directional stereo analog audio, and IR over your IP network using a standard Gigabit Local Area Network.

Massively Scalable KVM Matrix: Any Receiver can access any Sender on the network, supporting a total of just over 65,000 Sender and Receiver units to create a custom virtual matrix.

Integrated Gigabit Ethernet Switch: Features a built-in three-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, allowing for the connection of computers and other IP-enabled devices directly to the receiver.

High-Speed USB 2.0: Delivers two USB 2.0 ports for connecting keyboards, mice, and other peripherals, with data rates up to 480 Mbps and backward-compatibility with USB 1.1.

Intuitive Web Interface: A built-in Web server interface provides simple and intuitive control for all features, setup, and configuration.

Cross-Platform Compatibility: Works with any combination of Gefen KVM over LAN Senders and Receivers, including HDMI, DVI, and VGA models.

How It Works

The Gefen VGA KVM over IP system operates with two core components: a Sender unit and one or more Receiver units. First, connect your computer or other VGA source, along with its USB, RS-232, and audio ports, to the Sender unit. The Receiver unit connects to your high-definition display, USB keyboard and mouse, and other peripherals at the remote workstation. The Sender and Receiver units link to each other either directly or through a Gigabit Ethernet switch using a single CAT-5e or better cable up to 330 feet (100 meters). By adding multiple Senders and Receivers to the network, you create a flexible and massively scalable 'virtual matrix,' allowing any connected workstation to use the web interface or front panel button to switch control between any source on the network.
