The system includes a compact "Stick" Sender that connects directly to an HDMI port and can be powered via USB, making it ideal for connecting portable devices like laptops and cameras. Paired with a receiver, this system provides a flexible, high-quality solution for conference rooms and home theaters where temporary connections are frequently needed.

How It Works

The Gefen Wireless for HDMI 5 GHz Short Range system operates with two main components: a Sender unit and a Receiver unit. First, connect the compact Sender unit directly to the HDMI port of your HD source, such as a presentation laptop or camera. The Sender can be powered either from a USB port on the source device or with the included 5V DC power supply. The Receiver unit connects to your HD display via an HDMI cable. Once powered on, the Sender wirelessly transmits the uncompressed audio and video signal to the Receiver on the 5 GHz frequency band, displaying your content on the screen from up to 33 feet (10 meters) away. For multi-source environments, up to eight Sender units can be registered to a single Receiver, allowing you to easily switch between different sources using the included IR remote control.
